The COVID Details: The 2022 Salty Dog will be held in accordance with the Public Health Orders of the Province of BC and Interior Health in force at the time of the event. These orders may include the requirement to produce proof of vaccination. If BC COVID-19 Safety Protocols change, and a fully Vaxxed event is required, and this excludes a rider, Salty Dog will not be offering refunds. If this does not work for you, we do have people looking for Salty Spots, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how to swap spots, this is only being offered until March 31. After March 31 Salty Dog will not be offering further race entry swaps.
We will plan to follow all BC COVID protocols in place on May 1. If the PHO recommendations in BC change drastically before May 1, please refer to the paragraph above. We will also revert to a Salty Dog U15 8ish km one lap individual loop, and a Salty Dog Main Event 35ish km one lap individual loop, the PUP will be a DIY volunteer run event. If and as needed our race loop maps will be updated and posted on our website. Fingers crossed the Salty 2022 will not have to go this way, as we are fully planning to race a back to normal Salty Dog this year!
This event sells out quickly every year and we ask that you respect our limited Registration Policies. Each entrant must agree to the registration policy and online waiver. We do not offer a wait list and no refunds will be offered after February 15th, 2022. Zone4.ca will walk you through the registration process.
Make sure you have all the required information on hand: Name, birth date, gender, mailing address, email address, phone number, and an emergency contact number (of a person who is not racing).
Maximum number of entries per family is 6 or 2 per person. Multiple entries for the same name will not be entered nor refunded.
No TBA entries.
Cancellation Policy: There are no cancellations or refunds for the 2022 event.
Racer Transfers: Feb 15 – Mar 31 will be charged a $25 admin fee per racer, payable via e-transfer, and available up to Mar 31. All transfer parties are responsible for their own swapping of compensation. The transferee will receive the original clothing ordered.
Mandatory Racer Kit pick up: Saturday, May 14th at Skookum Cycle, 141 Shuswap St., 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Sunday am racer package kit pick up 7am to 8am only, ALL SUNDAY racer kit pick ups will be charged a $50 extra admin fee, payable via CASH ONLY.
Please pick the appropriate t-shirt size! A Large fits big! You will receive the t-shirt size in your racer package as per your size request: men’s, lady’s and youth sizing available.
